I have put hundreds of rounds through this gun, all are reloaded 40''s that I load myself. I have nothing but great things to say about this weapon. Out of the box not any jams or any problems. I my own bullets from lead. No leading at all. This gun is a joy to shoot. Very smooth and dependable.
Again not one problem with the FNP 40
Plus I can load for $3.50 a box of 50 rounds. It will feed them every time.

I was curious about whether or not the FNP.40 caliber came with a manual safety. It does. The model number ends in USG. You''ll have to search this web sight to find it. It''s $55.00 more than the FNP 47832. I would have glady paid the additional money to get the safety. Well, that the drawback of buying online. I hope this info helps someone else.

FNP .40 model 47832

This gun has good construction and looks good. It does not have a manual safety as advertised. Also, the cartridges rattle if I load the magazine to capacity. I only load 13. The gun does have an ambidextrous decocker and the hammer is easy to pull back with one hand. I will keep it eventhough I would prefer to have the manual safety.
