the 21st century multi-caliber platform ideal for your next tactical operation. The SCAR-Light is a semi-automatic 223 REM. (5.56x45mm NATO) rifle system with a gas-operated, short-stroke piston. Completely ambidextrous, the FN SCAR has a fully free-floating barrel, multiple integral MIL-STD 1913 mounting rails and a folding stock assembly with adjustable cheekpiece. With its barrel interchangeability and telescoping design, the SCAR could possibly be the most adaptable combat rifle ever.
